Course of Cutting

The cinema is the art of the ellipse and the cutting expresses the power of this art to the maximum.
The author in the dark, alone, in the cutting room is able to manipulate at his favor time and space and can give its work new significations and contains. To learn the rules which are basically for this language requests to enter in the spirit of this highly expressive art. The students will pass hours at the cutting board, in this phase the film will be developed, take shape and acquire rhythm, the cutting of the direct shooting, integrated with the dubbing, the sounds, music and the final mixing will complete the work in its single parts up to the titolation.
The course is interactive. Everybody enrolled for one course has the possibility to follow as auditors the other courses organized by the school.
During the year there will be organized meetings with authors, directors, actors, personages of the business world.

| Information | The cutting is an essential phase of the creative process and requests of a great technical-formal preparation which is in this phase to determine the effort of a film. The exercises are carried out on a Media100 computer. |
