Artistic Direction Giuseppe Ferlito
Born in Burgio (Agrigento) in 1954
1976 He moves to Florence and enroll hisself at the Faculty of Architecture.
1981 He attends the Bottega Teatrale di Gassman where he follows the Course of Drammaturgy of Eduardo De Filippo, participating to the drawing up of the text "SIMPATIA" published by Einaudi.
1984/88 He realizes the first full length film in Super8 and in Video, often rewarded by several Competitions of the Independent Cinema.
1989 Ferlito realizes "Contraccolpo" full length film in Video.
"special Prize of the jury" and "Prize for the best male interpretation" at the 40th International Exhibition of Montecatini.
"Gold Gull" for best full length film at the Festival di Bellaria
1990 At the cinema SpazioUno of Florence he directs the Cinematographic Laboratory "Videolaboratorio" where the young people learn to construct a film concretely from the Scenery tol the Cutting. He realizes with the students the Video Film "Moishel" which obtains the Special Prize of the Jury in the review "Film Videomakers Toscani" at Prato.
He realizes for RAI 3 the pilot film of the TV Serial " Io e Margherita" directed by Sergio Staino.
He realizes for the Mediateca Regionale Toscana the following Documentaries:
"Tex" by Sergio Micheli (realized for the DSE)
" Identificazione pesce" by Giuseppe Ferlito (realized for the USL10D)
" Volti nuovi a Firenze" by Giuseppe Ferlito (realized for the DSE)

Together with the students of the Videolaboratorio he realizes the full length Videofilm " Lettere morte":
First Prize FILMMAKER 1991 in Milan.
Golden Heron at the National Competition Fedic 1991.
1991 In ambition of the initiatives for the Bimillenium of Orazio he realizes in Venosa the Videofilm " Quinto Orazio" produced by the editions TV of Rionero in Vulture.
1992 Ferlito directs a teacher refresher course employed with the audiovisual means promoted by the PROVINCE OF FLORENCE, with which he realizes the film " Il fiume e la memoria".

He directs a Video Course promoted by the Mediateca Regionale Toscana inside the Istituto di pena Solliccianino.

He directs a Video Course promoted by the Biblioteca Comunale di Bagno a Ripoli.

Together with the students of the Videolaboratorio he realizes a full length film in 16 milimeter "Gabbia Gessa".

1993 He realizes in quality of director the Antimafia Spot in 35 mm. "La Farfalla" on purpose of the AntiMafia Campaign promoted By the Regione Toscana.
1994 He realizes in quality of director the Documentary "La Scuola in Piazza" fort he Mediateca Regionale Toscana about the didactic truths in Tuscany. 

He directs in S. Giovanni Valdarno the teacher refresher course  "Education of Communication and use of the audiovisual instruments" promoted by the Consiglio Scolastico Distrettuale n° 28 e by the BIA.

He constitutes together with a group of passionats " L'Associazione Culturale Immagina" The carrying axis for a School is constituted - Cinematographic Laboratory characterized by a Course of Direction (directed by Giuseppe Ferlito) a Course of Cinematographic recitazione (directed by Claudius Bigagli) and a Course of Scenery (directed by Chiara Tozzi) which are guarantying a exchange of experiences and work between the single courses.
1995 For the second time he directs a teacher refresher course " Education of Communication and use of the audiovisual instruments" in S. Giovanni Valdarno and realizes as final sample the videofilm " Il professore va in pensione".

Ferlito realizes in quality of director inside the Cultural Association Immagina, the Videofilm " Compagno che sei nei cieli " with Sergio Staino  protagonist.

Prize for best Work at the National Competition Fedic 1995

He realizes in quality of director inside the Cultural Association Immagina the Documentary " Forte per la pace " at the exibition of the sculptor Giuliano Vangi at Forte Belvedere.

It realizes in quality of director the Videoclip "Loving You" executed by Double you.
1996 It directs the 2nd year of the Course of Direction to the inside of the School - Cinematographic Laboratory Imagines placed side by side from Julia Forests for the Course of Cinematographic Recitazione and from Giovanni Bogani for the Course of Scenario.
1997 He directs the 3rd year of the Course of Direction inside of the School  - Cinematographic laboratory Immagina with the assistance of Julia Boschi for the Course of Cinematographic Recitation and of Giovanni Bogani for the Course of Scenery. 

Ferlito realizes in quality of director the medium-length-film in 35 milimeter. "Doppio Petto" shot in Sicily and produced by the Cultural Association Immagina with the contribution of the Comune di Burgio and Villafranca Sicula (AG).
Prize for best work at the National Competition FEDIC 1998.
Prize for best work at the World-wide Competition UNICA 1998 which took part in Austria.
1998 He directs the 4th year of the Course of Direction inside of the School  - Cinematographic Laboratory Immagina, with assistance of Carlotta Natol for the Course of Recitazione Cinamatografica and of Giovanni Bogani and Roberto Riviello for the Course of Scenery.

He directs the film "Femmina" produced and distributed by Cecchi Gori Group, interpreted by Monica Guerritore and written by Giuseppe Patroni Griffi.
Distributed in the Italian cinematographic halls has then had television passages on RAI2 and Canale5. 
He directs as director inside of the School of Cinema Immagina, the medium-length-videofilm " Gioco a incastro".
1999 He realizes in quality of director the videoclip "Fuorilegge" executed by the singer Cenere.

he directs the 5th year of the Course of Direction inside of the School  - Cinematographic Laboratory Immagina, with assistance of Carlotta Natoli for the Course of Cinematographic Recitazione and of Giovanni Bogani and Roberto Riviello for the Course of Scenery.
2000 In quality of director he directs inside of the School of Cinema Immagina the medium-length-videofilm "I Prigioni"
Prize for best work at the National Competition Itinerante "Il Viaggio Infinito" 2000

It directs the 6th year of the Course of Direction and Course of Cinematographic Recitation inside of the School of Cinema Immagina.
He directs the full length film "La Pietra nel Pozzo" in collaboration with the students of direction and recitation course.
2001 He directs il full-length-film "Né terra né cielo" financed by the Ministero dei Beni Culturali as for film of Cultural-National interest and co-producted by Immagina Cinematografica Productions and Arbash in collaboration with Cultural Association Immagina. The film, distributed in Italy by Lantia Cinema & Audiovisivi and abroad by Adriana Chiesa, has rewarded the following prizes:
"Reale Mutua" Prize at the 4th edition of the European Festival of Lecce 2003. 
Public-Prize at the 6th edition of the Festival du film Italien(Aiaccio-Corsica) 2004.
He directs the 7th year of the Course of Direction and the Course of Cinematographic Recitation in the School of Cinema Immagina.
2002 He directs the 8th year of the Course of Direction and the Course of Cinematographic Recitation in the School of Cinema Immagina.
2003 He directs the 9th year of the Course of Direction and the Course of Cinematographic Recitation inside of the School of Cinema Immagina. He directs together with the director Domenico Costanzo  
the full-length-film "La mia squadra del cuore" con the participation of Angelo Di Livio, Carlo Monni, Novello Novelli, Sergio Bustric, Sergio Forconi. The film, produced by Cultural Association Immagina in collaboration with Cinematographic Fiorenza has been presented to the public at the Manzoni Cinema in Florence and was then distributed in VHS and DVD by General Video.
2004 He directs the 10th year of the Course of Direction and the Course of Cinematographic Recitation inside of the School of Cinema Immagina.
He directs the full-length film "Ritratti nella notte" in collaboration with the students of the direction and recitation course.
2005 He directs the 11th year of the Course of Direction and the Course of Cinematographic Recitation inside of the School of Cinema Immagina.
